ATTITUDE REFORM AND KNOWLEDGE INITIATIVE PRESENTS!
SPECIAL PEOPLE Talent Hunt Show Pre-Event 24th May, 2012 at Silverbird Entertainment Center, Abuja (Hall 3, 4th Floor). Time: 2pm!

Introduction

ARK – INITIATIVE was founded to awaken the consciousness of our youths to social ills in our local communities like teenage pregnancies, cultism, prostitution, drug addiction etc through seminars, rural awareness campaigns, shows and so on.

ARK – INITIATIVE also provides equal opportunity of empowerment and development by discovering, showcasing, expressing and rewarding the untapped and often times neglected talents of persons with disabilities for optimal benefits to themselves and the society in general.

In promoting our concept of “Ability in Disability”, we have put together the “Persons with Disability Talent Hunt Show”, a Reality TV Show coming up soon to enable them showcase their talents in music, dance, art, craft, comedy and several other talent. This platform is created to provide hope, equal rights and a sense of belonging to these “Less Privileged” citizens of our country.

Objectives:

  • To create an avenue of discovering hidden talents in our physically challenged citizens, and to help make a career of such identified talents.
  • To create a platform that will provide hope, joy and sense of belonging to these “unfortunate” citizens.
  • To strategically integrate the physically challenged into societies main stream through this annual self empowerment and human development project,
  • To partner with ministries, department, agencies, organized private sector, NGO’s, donors and development partners in rewarding outstanding challenged individual.
